Sophie's performance career as a dancer and most resently, circus artist has taken her from Europe to Asia and back again, working with some of the worlds leading entertainment companies including Franco Dragone Entertainment and Cirque Du Soleil. The competition ran over 4 days. The first 3 days were heats, featuring 6 finalist in 3 categories: Pole Exotic, Fusion and Drama. The 4th day was the final, taking the winner and runner up of each category to compete for the overall champion.
After winning her heat, Sophie then took the Award for Best Choreography and Overall Champion 2018

UNSOUND was adapted from Hunter S. Thompson's 1972 novel "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", with some inspiration from the 1998 film. This physical theatre piece was written, created and performed by Sophie Duncan, in collaboration with set designer Tom Blakey, to be performed for one night only at The Place's annual choreographic platform for new choreographer's Resoultions!.

ROB THE POST OFFICE was on of the first shows Sophie performed pressionally, at various London venues. A strong physcial theatre piece, developed while still at London Contemporary Dance School, the piece is based on the film BRONSON, starring Tom Hardy. Michael Peterson, better known as Charles Bronson, is one of Britain's most notorious prisoners, Locked up in the 1970's for robbing a post office of £50, he's been locked up ever since due to his intence antiks while on the inside such as holding hostages, beating up guards, setting fires and otherwise odd behaviour.
